“My name is Jared R. Green. I am a self-published children's book author and entrepreneur. I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in the Lower Ninth Ward located in New Orleans, La. I have volunteered for various organizations, and I’ve helped organize the community since the age of 5 years old. I am a dreamer. I envision a city that creates innovative social and economic change and is the pioneer of such things for cities all around the country. I believe the future is bright, and my hope for the future of people all around the city is even brighter.”
